Stack Overflow offers a careers section to their website where Stack users can search for jobs and where recruiters can go to search for people who are either actively or passively looking to make a change in their current employment situation.

Stack Overflow careers section has approximately 138,000 candidates, comprised of 30,000+ actively looking for a job and 108,000+ passive candidates who, while not actively looking, have indicated they are open to offers. It’s always helpful to be able to identify people who are open to discussing opportunities to make a change from their current employer.

By x-raying Behance using Google you get unlimited access to the talent on there and a good insight on the size of the talent pool. All Behance profiles have job title and location listed which can be used as a basis for creating a basic Boolean string.

inurl: Operator - Boolean Search

If you include inurl: in your query, Google will restrict the results to documents containing that word in the URL. For instance, [ inurl:resume site:www.behance.net ] searches for pages on Behance in which the URL contains the word “resume.” It finds pdf files that are in the directory or folder named “resume” on the Behance website. The query [ inurl:Software Engineer ] will return documents that mention the words “Software” in their URL, and mention the word “Engineer” anywhere in the document.

Note: There must be no space between the inurl: and the following word.

Putting inurl: in front of every word in your query is equivalent to putting allinurl: at the front of your query, e.g., [ inurl:Software inurl:Engineer ] is the same as [ allinurl: Software Engineer ].
